Havre Daily News

Ok, I agree, it has been to long. Since September, I’ve been busy as the staffer at the Havre Daily News. At the paper, as the only staff photographer and photo editor, I regularly post my work on their Facebook page and in galleries on their website. I thought I’d drop a few pics here though.

Blog Post 7/25/12: Summer Heat

I want to show you some of my photos from the past month. Let’s start with some wet and wild fun: a youth swim meet, a busy pools on 100+ degree day and a slip-n-slide in a yard on a feature run.

Sydni Turner, of Wapakoneta, prepares for the girls 15 and over 50 meter backstroke during the final day of the Western Ohio Aquatic League (WOAL) Championship Swim Meet at the Bluffton Community Pool. Lindsay Brown/The Lima News

Hunter Lautzenheiser, 11 of Hendersonville, Tennessee, jumps off the high dive at the City of Wapakoneta WaterPark. Lautzenheiser camped at the KOA with his family for the holiday. Melissa Koenig yells as she is squirted with a water gun as her Auglaize Acres team makes the bed during the bed races at the Wapakoneta’s Summer Moon Festival. The bed race had four stages: bed making, thawing a tee shirt, “elephant march” and passing a buttered sausage. In the elephant march, one teammate put a stocking with a tennis ball in it on his/her face and knocked over bottles. Lindsay Brown/The Lima News
